Kevin M. LoPrimo

Prior to designing the hedge fund services and operations unit at VanthedgePoint, Mr. LoPrimo consulted for UBS' Prime Brokerage in London in areas such as margin and assistance to start-up hedge funds. Prior to consulting for UBS, Mr. LoPrimo was Director/Business Head in the Global Prime Brokerage of Merrill Lynch. There he oversaw client services, client integration and product development, and managed the strategic direction of the European Prime Brokerage business. Mr. LoPrimo improved client service quality, increased revenue from equity financing and created process for introducing clients to new vendors, lawyers and accounting/audit partners. to help funds run properly.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. LoPrimo spent nineteen years at Goldman Sachs & Co., most recently as Executive Director, International Prime Brokerage Client Services and Product Development in London. At Goldman Sachs & Co., he created an enhanced leverage product, managed the business unit's P&L and oversaw relationship management, trade processing, clearing, trade settlements, funding, margin, exposure management, risk management, reconciliation, custody and reporting for all Prime Brokerage relationships, among other duties. In 1991, Mr. LoPrimo was tasked with the creation of a new department to focus on servicing hedge funds.
While at Goldman Sachs & Co., Mr. LoPrimo also worked closely with the Securities Industry Association to create the industry wide Prime Brokerage Committee, and worked with the Securities and Exchange Commission to create the Prime Brokerage "No-Action letter" that governs the Prime Brokerage Industry in the United States. He also hired and trained teams in each role and developed a reputation for providing superior client service.
Mr. LoPrimo graduated from Pace University with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems.
