VanthedgePoint Expands Team Supporting Its Services for Small Hedge Funds
Macrae Sykes, Trish Pokuta and Joseph Cambareri Join Firm
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, February 7, 2006 – VanthedgePoint Group, Inc., an integrated financial services firm specializing in hedge fund services for small hedge funds, today announced that Macrae Sykes, Trish A. Pokuta and Joseph Cambareri have joined its wholly owned subsidiary Vanthedgepoint Securities LLC.

Macrae Sykes joins VanthedgePoint Securities as Executive Director of Sales & Marketing. Previously, he was at JNK Securities where he was Director of Marketing in its International Group. Mr. Sykes began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette after graduating from Hamilton College with a BA in Economics. After DLJ?s merger with Credit Suisse First Boston, Mr. Sykes worked in Institutional Trading, specifically trading technology stocks for the FINRAAQ trading department. Prior to joining JNK Securities, he worked at Prudential Securities in the FINRAAQ trading division.
Trish A. Pokuta joins VanthedgePoint Securities as Executive Director of Brokerage Operations. Previously, she was at Calyon Financial where she was Senior Vice President, Head of Operations Development and Global Equities Operations. Prior to joining Calyon Financial, Ms. Pokuta was Director of Compliance at Stafford Trading. Ms. Pokuta also served as Asst. Vice President of Client Services at Wagner Stott Clearing (currently Merrill Lynch Professional Clearing) and Vice President at Gelderman Securities (currently EDF Mann Financial). She has extensive brokerage operations experience for various investment products including equities, options, futures and fixed income.
Joseph Cambareri joins VanthedgePoint Securities as Director of Finance, and will serve as the firm?s Financial Operations Principal (FINOP). Previously, he was at Morgan Stanley, where he was Controller for the distressed debt and private equity desk. Mr. Cambareri is a Certified Public Accountant, and was an auditor for Arthur Andersen in their Consumer Products division prior to joining Morgan Stanley. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the Stern School of Business at NYU and has completed half of his graduate studies in business at Stern as well.
