VanthedgePoint Selects Penson for Expanded Execution and Clearing Needs

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, November 14, 2006 – VanthedgePoint Group, Inc., an integrated financial services firm catering to small and emerging hedge funds, announced today that its wholly owned registered broker/dealer subsidiary, VanthedgePoint Securities LLC, selected Penson Financial Services, Inc., a Penson Worldwide, Inc. company (FINRAAQ: PNSN), to act as clearing firm and custodian for its clients’ U.S. equities, U.S. options and international equities trading activity.
